EFCC Drags Former PDP Chair, Son To Court For Receiving N600m From Dasuki. Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has filed charges against a former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr. Haliru Mohammed Bello, and his son, Abbah, for collecting N600 million from the embattled former National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki. The money was collected in the name of Bam Properties. Although it was not revealed what the money was meant for, but the EFCC alleges that the money might have been diverted from the public treasury for political purposes. Vanguard gathered that the Bellos are likely to be docked on Tuesday and Wednesday. The NSA has been alleged to have diverted $2.1 billion meant to purchase arms for the military to aid in the fight against insurgency. The money has been traced to several top officials in the last administration and party chieftains, most of who have been charged to court by the EFCC. - See more at: http://www.bangahit.blogspots.com/efcc-drags-former-pdp-chair-son-to-court-for-receiving-n600m-from-dasuki/#sthash.ICdRmd6g.dpuf
